Requirements:

• 3 years minimum experience with HTML/XHTML, and CSS.
• 2 years minimum programming experience with PHP (OOP) and Javascript.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux will be a plus.
• 1 year minimum experience working with relational database systems such as MySQL and a good working knowledge of SQL.
• Ability to translate a complicated visual design into a pixel-perfect experience.
• Understanding of legacy and cross browser development back to IE7.
• Basic understanding of user experience best practices.
• Expert Knowledge of mobile and responsive web development.
• Expert Knowledge of Content Management Systems such as Joomla.
• Experience with web development frameworks, eg Laravel, CodeIgniter etc.

Desirable:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience.
• Experience with graphic design programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Familiarity with web standards, accessibility, and SEO considerations with an ability to optimize code utilizing.
• SEO best practices.
• Self-starter with strong self-management skills.
• Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Self-motivated team player to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

Web Designer

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ability to articulate and present creative ideas.
• Lead the creative aspects of a project.
• Create interactive design concepts.
• Designing web and mobile sites and applications, marketing campaigns, interactive page layouts,
• Site grids and interface demos.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent years of experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Web Design.
• An online portfolio featuring great digital work.
• Expert Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Familiarity with HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience as a Web designer in the following areas: Interactive, agency creative, and graphic design
• Strong conceptual skills, including online and offline experience concepts.
• Strong design style, including creative design solutions within the constraints of the Internet
• Knowledge of Responsive and mobile optimized web design.
• Deep understanding of user experience best practices.
• Excellent typographical skills.
• Knowledge of the use of fonts on the web and mobile.
• Able to deliver pixel perfect results.
• Superb communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Self-motivated team player to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to identify process improvement opportunities.
